Mr. Canary is the self-proclaimed “company that made bird feeding cool.” However, we think they are pretty cool for how they run their Indiana-based business. In 2018 two friends in Idaho came together to launch the Idaho Candle Company. Eryn knew how to make candles. Deseree had relationship building and sales in her blood. Both were deeply enamored with their native home, Idaho, and needed to exercise their entrepreneurial and creative muscles. Carmen Beaton started Half-N-The-Bag by making simple totes back in 2012. Those totes turned into wine bags in 2014 thus spawning a fun American business.
