This Night
We love quality socks. If we can find quality socks with cool designs, even better!
This Night produces socks that are design-inspired by the colors and patterns of Japan. They are made with US-grown cotton and are manufactured in America.
The idea for the socks, and the company, came from illustrator Kate T. Williams. She is inspired by the colors and patterns of Japan after living there for a year while studying art.
The socks are grouped by sizes for shopping purposes:
You can even purchase artwork by Kate as well!
Originally manufactured in Pennsylvania, This Night currently produces the socks in North Carolina.
I am so grateful to be working with very talented, kind people at a wonderful mill in Catawba County, North Carolina (a state that is home to much of what is left of America’s hosiery industry). My socks were originally developed and knit in the last remaining knitting mill in my hometown of Reading, PA, until it was closed by its new owners in 2018 –– I will always be indebted to the generous, talented people there, who made these socks possible.
