The Deck Tool
Do you have a deck on your home? How often are you driven mad by the leaves and other bits of material that get stuck between the boards?
Lucky for you (and all of us!) The Deck Tool exists to alleviate these problems.
The tool is the brainchild of founder George Wilson.
He made the tool to solve a continuing problem of not being able to get all kinds of debris out from between the deck boards. After blowing off the deck there were still numerous items stuck between the boards. These included leaves, pine needles, oak clusters, helicopter seeds, and the worst, pine cone scales. These are almost impossible to get out. A big problem in the fall was that the bright purple sweet gum leaves that make the trees so beautiful will really stain the light gray deck when they lie on the deck and get wet.
Once again, someone taking an idea and bringing it to reality. And making it in America!
theDECKtool™ is Made in the USA. The lacquered pine handle is made in North Carolina and is made long enough to allow you to clean the deck grooves while standing up. The special alloy heat treated stainless steel blade is made in Pennsylvania. This high strength blade is actually thinner than a dime so it can clear debris from very thin spaces in the deck. The sharp points on the blade are very effective at getting all types of debris out from between the deck boards. The tool is assembled in Georgia.
The tool itself is 4 feet in length but only weighs one pound. Easily handled by anyone who wants to clear off their deck.
American Ingenuity wins again!
