Iron Will Outfitters
We are currently in September, a very active time of year for archery hunters across the United States. Whether you are chasing big game out west or perhaps staying a bit closer to home, you are going to want precision broadheads for your arrows.

We learned of Iron Will Outfitters while listening to a recent MeatEater Podcast featuring Iron Will co-founder Bill Vanderheyden. His knowledge and ability to explain the reasons behind the Iron Will broadheads led us to investigate a bit more.
We were excited to see that all of the Iron Will Outfitters products are indeed Made in America. Mr. Venderheyden was quick to point out to us that, yes, everything is machined here in the United States, but, materials are sourced from all over the globe.
The company story is similar to many we feature here. The desire for a better, quality product that did not seem to exist in the marketplace.
The pursuit began by analyzing the physics behind every aspect of the shot and reading scientific studies. Current broadhead offerings were researched, purchased, and thoroughly tested. Bill was looking for a broadhead that would achieve maximum penetration, pass through bone undamaged, maintain a razor sharp edge, and fly great at long distances. Every broadhead tested fell short in one or more of these areas. Frustrated with the offerings, he decided to engineer his own broadhead. This started the seven year process of designing, analyzing, prototyping, testing, and iterating on the design.
After many, many iterations, the perfect Iron Hill Outfitters Broadhead was found.
