Be American Made

Celebrating American-made products and those that produce them.

Ames

As the weather warms we find ourselves outside taking care of the lawn and lanscaping again. Not always our favorite thing to do on a nice sunny weekend, but we always get it done.

Our ability to always get the work done is supported in great part by the tools we have purchased for the job. They are American Made.

We use rakes from Ames and they have always performed flawlessly.

Ames started way back in 1774 when Captain John Ames began making America’s first shovels.

We’ve been building America ever since, through wartime and peacetime, boom and bust. And we’ve had our share of adventure along the way—we’ve dug for gold, gone on expeditions to Antarctica, and built at least two of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

Think about that one for a minute. Ames is actually older than America itself!

Talk about a true American company!

Ames has quite a large line of products to handle any job you need to accomplish.

Everything from Cultivators and Hoes to Shovels and Scoops and even Carts and Wagons!

For our duties we depend on the Collector Series Steel Handle 26 In. Poly Leaf Rake for the larger yard work.

When cleaning up under and around the shrubs we depend on the Collector Series 8 In. Poly Shrub Rake.

We’ve had both for several years and they are still as good as the day we purchased them.

Ames is proud of their American Manufacturing. We are too.
